Uruguay Gazettes Decree Further Extending Reduced VAT Rate for Tourism Sector

The Uruguayan Official Gazette Sept. 23 published Decree No. 256, further extending the 9 percent reduced VAT rate for the tourism sector, to April 30, 2025, from Sept. 30, 2024, provided consideration is paid through specified electronic means. [Uruguay, Official Gazette, 09/23/24]
