Uruguay President Announces Zero-Rated VAT on Hotel Stays for Resident Tourists

The Uruguayan President’s Office Nov. 18 announced that the zero-rated VAT on hotel services for non-resident tourists, for hotels with turnover of up to US $1.5 million, applies to resident tourists through Feb. 28, 2023. [Uruguay, Office of the President, 11/18/22]
