Uruguay Tax Agency Issues Guidance on 2024 IRPF, IASS Balance Payments

The Uruguayan General Directorate of Taxation May 28 issued guidance on paying 2024 individual income tax (IRPF) and social security assistance tax (IASS) balances. The guidance includes: 1) the Aug. 29, Sept. 30, Oct. 31, Nov. 28, and Dec. 30 deadlines for equal installment payments; 2) the applicable tax codes for each income category; and 3) acceptable online and in-person payment methods.
