US Rejects Renegotiating Major Parts of Global Tax Treaty (1)

The US solicited public feedback on the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development’s multilateral tax treaty to have a “fresh set of eyes” on the draft document to see if there were important issues missed, not to reopen negotiations on significant portions of the draft document, a Treasury Department official said Thursday.
