The Utah Governor signed a law that amends the Nicotine Product Tax code, establishing new definitions for nicotine products and modifying tax rates on cigarettes and alternative nicotine products, with cigarette taxes set at 11 cents per cigarette and nicotine pouch products taxed at $1 plus 5 cents for each pouch exceeding 20 pouches.
