Venezuela Tax Revenue Has Tripled in 1H 2023 vs 1H 2020: Maduro

Venezuela tax income revenue in 1H 2023 has tripled to $3.5 billion compared to the same period in 2020, president Nicolas Maduro said in state tv.

• Tax income revenue has grown “steadily”: $1b in 2020; $1.3b in 2021; $2.8b in 2022
• Credit has grown 84% in 1H 2023 compared to same period in 2022
• Commerce to close at 40% growth in 2023
