The Vietnamese Government June 17 issued Decree No. 65/2024, extending the tax payment deadline for special consumption tax for domestically produced and assembled cars. The payment extension includes the Nov. 20 deadline for the May, June, July, August, and September 2024 tax periods. The decree takes effect the same date and applies until Dec. 31.
