The Washington Governor signed a law modifying the law on the spirits, beer, and wine theater license. The law removes the requirement that a theater may have no more than 120 seats per screen to qualify for a spirits, beer, and wine theater license. The law also clarifies the other requirements for issuing the licenses. The law takes effect June 11. [H.B. 2476, enacted 03/11/26]
