James Saeli joined Winston & Strawn as a partner in its transactions department and member of its tax practice in New York, the firm announced Monday.
Saeli’s practice focuses on the tax aspects of real estate finance specializing in mortgage-backed securitization, particularly real estate investment conduits and other tax-advantaged real estate investment vehicles, the firm said.
He also provides tax advice to clients in other aspects of real estate financing, from loan origination to warehousing, as well as other lending arrangements and financing transactions.
