The Alabama Department of Revenue (DOR) issued a notice announcing that new heated tobacco product (HTP) tax stamps will be available for purchase beginning Dec. 1. The new tax stamps will be included in the existing state cigarette and county cigarette tax types, and a 4.75 percent discount will be allowed for purchases by permitted wholesalers. [Ala.
