The Alabama Department of Revenue (DOR) July 1 issued a guideline on the Business Privilege Tax return attachment requirements. The guideline requires various attachments to accompany the tax return, including: 1) copies of federal tax return pages; 2) balance sheets; and 3) documentation supporting any exclusions or deductions claimed in the computation of the taxpayer’s net worth. Taxpayers operating both in and outside Alabama must also attach a copy of the Alabama apportionment schedule. [Ala.
