The Alabama Department of Revenue (DOR) Jan. 23 released new Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) on S-Corporations, providing information on: 1) filing returns for qualified subchapter S subsidiaries; 2) how preparers can know whether they are required to electronically file a corporate/partnership return this year or next year; and 3) whether taxpayers may electronically file paper returns for Alabama taxes when using paper returns for federal tax returns.
