The Alabama Governor May 16 signed a law amending the tax code on exemptions from sales tax. The law includes provisions exempting the gross proceeds from the sale of hearing instruments, including hearing aids, from sales and use tax from Oct. 1, 2024, through Sept. 30, 2029.
