Alaska DOR Issues Instructions on Filing Annual Financial Statements for Taxpayers With Gaming Permits

The Alaska Department of Revenue Jan. 1 issued instructions for taxpayers with gaming permits to file annual financial statements (AFS) through Revenue Online for excise and sales and use tax purposes. Municipalities and qualified organizations must complete the AFS at the end of each calendar year by March 15 of the year following the year a permit is issued. Taxpayers can request filing extensions online but must include Dec. 31 bank statements and reconciliations for the current and the prior year.
