Arizona DOR Issues Individual Income Tax Information on Due Dates, Tax Changes for 2021 Returns

The Arizona Department of Revenue (DOR) Dec. 15 issued individual income tax information on due dates and changes related to filing the 2021 return. The DOR explains that: 1) taxpayers have until April 18, 2022, to file 2021 tax returns; 2) if filing under an extension, the extended due date is Oct. 17, 2022; 3) the standard deduction can be increased by 25 percent of the charitable deductions a taxpayer would have claimed if they itemized their deductions; 4) beginning with tax year 2021, individuals can elect to report their small business income on Form 140-SBI, Small Business Income, for ...
