Arizona DOR Issues Information on Renewal of Transaction Privilege Tax Licenses for Businesses

The Arizona Department of Revenue (DOR) Dec. 1 issued information on renewing transaction privilege tax (TPT) licenses for sales and use tax purposes. The DOR provides: 1) licensed businesses must renew their TPT license annually by Jan. 1; 2) businesses with multiple locations won’t receive a paper form for renewal and must renew online; 3) taxpayers with an annual TPT or use tax liability of $5,000 or more during the prior calendar year must file tax returns electronically and make tax payments by Electronic Funds Transfer; 4) failure to renew the license or comply with electronic filing and payment requirements ...
