Arizona DOR Issues Notice Regarding 2023 Transaction Privilege Tax License Renewals

The Arizona Department of Revenue (DOR) Nov. 8 issued a notice that transaction privilege tax (TPT) license renewals are due Jan. 1, 2023, for sales and use tax purposes. The notice includes: 1) businesses that sell products or engage in a business activity subject to TPT must renew their TPT license annually; 2) businesses that licensed late in 2022 must still renew by the due date; 3) out-of-state businesses without a physical presence in Arizona must renew their TPT licenses if they have more than $100,000 in sales to Arizona customers in the current calendar year; 4) the state requires ...
