Arizona Prohibits DOR from Assessing, Collecting Certain Fees for Modernization Project

The Arizona Governor signed a law prohibiting the Department of Revenue (DOR) from assessing and collecting fees from counties, cities, towns, councils of governments and regional transportation authorities to implement the DOR’s Integrated Tax Modernization Project for Fiscal Year 2026. The law takes effect 91 days after the end of the legislative session. [S.B. 1747, enacted 06/27/25]
