Arkansas Finance Department Publishes Revised Specifications for Filing Income Tax Forms W-2, 1099 Electronically

The Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration Dec. 14 published revised specifications for filing Forms W-2 and 1099 electronically for individual income and corporate income tax purposes. The publication provides that: 1) taxpayers must submit the 2023 Arkansas W-2 information on or before Jan. 31, 2024; 2) employers with 125 or more W-2’s must file Form W-2 electronically; 3) the due date for filing Form 1099 electronically is Jan. 31 of each year; 4) taxpayers must file with the state all record types that are required to be filed with the Internal Revenue Service; and 5) the dollar threshold for ...
