The Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration Jan. 4 released Form AR1000-DD, Certificate for Individuals With Developmental Disabilities, for individual income tax purposes. Form AR1000RC5 has been changed to AR1000-DD, along with the name of the form and where the credit can be claimed on the taxpayer’s return. To claim the $500 credit for individuals with developmental disabilities, taxpayers must use the AR1000TC form and include the child’s name and social security number. First-time credit users must attach forms AR1000-DD and AR1000TC to their returns. Taxpayers with a valid AR1000RC5 on Jan. 1, 2022, don’t need to submit form AR1000-DD. ...
