The Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration (DFA) Sept. 1 released a document on the register for tax accounts, which provides instructions for businesses to register their tax accounts, including the necessary documents and a $50.00 sales tax permit fee. The document also introduces the Arkansas Taxpayer Access Point (ATAP), a web-based service that offers 24/7 secure access to tax accounts and related information, including the ability to register for tax accounts, change names and addresses, close tax accounts, file and amend returns, make payments, and more.
