Arkansas Tax Appeals Commission Affirms Sales Tax Assessment, Revises Down Use Tax Assessment

The Arkansas Tax Appeals Commission granted in part and denied in part a sales and use tax petition. The Commission found that the Department of Finance and Administration (DFA) met the conditions for the estimated sales tax assessment and the taxpayer did not meet its burden to show that the estimated assessment was unreasonable. The Commission found that the DFA met the conditions for the estimated use tax assessment, but the estimate was unreasonable and was revised downward. [Ark.
