Belarus President Signs Law Amending Various Taxes

The Belarusian President’s Office Dec. 29 announced the signing of a law amending various taxes. The law includes measures: 1) maintaining the basic 13 percent tax rate for most workers, and applying increased rates of 25 percent and 30 percent to ultra-high income earners, from 2025; 2) increasing to 350,000 Belarusian rubles (US$121,283), from 220,000 rubles (US$76,235), the annual income threshold for the 25 percent tax rate, with income exceeding 600,000 rubles (US$207,01) subject to the 30 percent rate; 3) maintaining the 13 percent and 25 percent separate tax scale for dividends; 4) increasing the real estate tax coefficients for ...
