California Amends 2025 Budget, Sets Certain FTB Tax Collection, Enforcement Cost Recovery Fees

The California Governor signed an act amending the Budget Act of 2025. The law includes: 1) setting the Franchise Tax Board (FTB) collection cost recovery fee for fiscal year 2025-2026 for individuals, partnerships, limited liability company’s classified as a partnership for California income tax purposes, or fiduciaries at $362, and the filing enforcement cost recovery fee at $131; and 2) setting the Franchise Tax Board collection cost recovery fee for fiscal year 2025-2026 for corporations or limited liability company’s classified as a corporation for California income tax purposes at $292, and the filing enforcement cost recovery fee at $116.
