California CDTFA Announces Application Deadline of Sales Tax Relief Payment Plans for Small Business Taxpayers

The California Department of Tax and Fee Administration (CDTFA) Oct. 1 announced that small business taxpayers with less than $5 million in taxable annual sales can take advantage of a 12-month interest-free payment plan for up to $50,000 of sales and use tax liability under small business relief payment plans. Taxpayers must apply for the plan by 5:00 p.m. on Nov. 18. The relief applies only to sales tax due on returns between March 1 and July 31.
