California CDTFA Announces Lead-Acid Battery Fees Increase April 1

The California Department of Tax and Fee Administration (CDTFA) Feb. 1 announced that the California battery fee and manufacturer battery fee each increase to $2 from $1 on April 1, for excise tax purposes. Battery fee and manufacturer battery fee returns are modified to reflect the increase.
