The California Department of Tax and Fee Administration (CDTFA) July 10 issued a letter on proposed revisions to Chapter 2 of the Compliance Policy and Procedures Manual to incorporate current policies and procedures regarding sales and use, and excise tax registration for tax and fee programs administered by the CDTFA. The manual guides the CDTFA staff in administering tax and fee programs.
