California CDTFA Issues Notice Providing Updates on Beer, Wine Importer Tax Returns, New Online Filing

The California Department of Tax and Fee Administration (CDTFA) April 1 issued a special notice providing an update on the revisions to the beer and wine importer excise tax return and the launch of new online filing. Taxpayers’ return forms will be revised and their importer accounts will be included in CDTFA’s online services system on Aug. 12. The notice includes information on: 1) CDTFA-501-BW, Beer and Wine Importer Tax Return; 2) CDTFA-269-BW, Beer and Wine Imported into California Report; 3) other information required to document beer and wine entering California; and 4) how to file online.
