California CDTFA Publishes Updated District Sales and Use Tax Rates, Effective Dates

The California Department of Tax and Fee Administration Oct. 1 published updated local district sales and use tax rates. Effective Oct. 1, new rates include: 1) 0.50 percent City of San Pablo Emergency Medical Services Transactions and Use Tax; 2) 1 percent City of Susanville Transactions and Use Tax; 3) 0.50 percent City of Torrance Transactions and Use Tax; 4) 1 percent Mariposa County Healthcare 2022 Transactions and Use Tax; and 5) 1.50 percent City of Pacific Grove General Transactions and Use Tax.
