California CDTFA Release Form CDTFA-82 for Sales, Excise Taxpayers to Authorize Electronic Transmission of Data

The California Department of Tax and Fee Administration (CDTFA) Oct. 1 released revised Form CDTFA-82, Authorization for Electronic Transmission of Data, for sales and use and excise tax purposes. Taxpayers are requested to sign the form and provide it to the CDTFA to authorize the transmission of confidential information to them or their representatives by unencrypted emails or other unencrypted electronic transmissions.
