California CDTFA Releases Form CDTFA-230-ZEV for Partial Sales Tax Exemption for Zero Emission Vehicles

The California Department of Tax and Fee Administration Dec. 1 released Form CDTFA-230-ZEV, Partial Exemption Certificate - Zero Emission Vehicle. The partial exemption is from sales and use tax at the rate of 3.9375 percent and is effective Jan. 1, 2023, to Dec. 31, 2027.
