California CDTFA Updated District Sales, Use Tax Rate Effective April 1

The California Department of Tax and Fee Administration (CDTFA) released updated district sales and use tax rates and effective dates. Effective April 1, the applicable transaction and use tax rates are: 1) 1 percent in the City of McFarland; 2) 1.25 percent in the City of Santa Fe Springs; 3) 0.625 percent in Santa Clara County; and 4) 1 percent in the City of Dunsmuir.
