California CDTFA Updates Cigarette and Tobacco Products Tax Rate

The California Department of Tax and Fee Administration (CDTFA) published updated rates for cigarettes and tobacco products. Effective July 1, the tax per pack of twenty cigarettes will be $2.87, while the tax rate for tobacco products will be 54.27 percent of the wholesale price. [Cal.
