California Employment Department Publishes 2023 Contribution Rates, Withholding Schedules, 2022 Meals, Lodging Values

The California Employment Development Department Nov. 1 published an updated webpage on contribution rates, withholding schedules, and meals and lodging values for non-maritime and maritime employees, for corporate income, individual income, and excise tax purposes. The department provides Method A - Wage Bracket Table Method and Method B - Exact Calculation Method for determining withholding amounts.
