The California Governor signed a law allowing the San Luis Obispo Council of Governments to impose a sales and use tax of up to 1 percent that exceeds the normal combined rate limitation established in §7251.1 of the Revenue and Taxation Code. [S.B. 333, enacted 10/13/25]
