California FTB Issues 2020 Form FTB 3582X, Payment Voucher for Individual E-Filed Amended Returns, Instructions

The California Franchise Tax Board (FTB) Dec. 1 issued the 2020 voucher and instructions for Form FTB 3582X, Payment Voucher for Individual e-filed Amended Returns. Taxpayers should use Form FTB 3582X only if they filed their amended individual income tax return electronically and have a balance due on the amended tax return which they pay with a check or money order. Taxpayers who aren’t required to pay electronically should do so using Form 3582 by April 15, 2021, to avoid penalties.
