California FTB Issues Information on Submitting Resident, Nonresident Withholding Statement, Pass-Through Entity Annual Withholding Return

The California Franchise Tax Board (FTB) Oct. 14 issued information for individual income, corporate income, and trust income taxpayers on the submission of Form 592, Resident and Nonresident Withholding Statement, and Form 592-PTE, Pass-Through Entity Annual Withholding Return. The information provides that taxpayers must file: 1) Form 592 to report withholding on domestic nonresident individuals for each payment period for which withholding was required to be remitted to the FTB, along with Form 592-V, Payment Voucher for Resident and Nonresident Withholding, and the nonwage withholding payment; 2) Form 592-PTE, along with Form 592-Q, Payment Voucher for Pass-Through Entity Withholding, to ...
