California FTB Issues Information on Use of Entity ID Number for Income Tax Electronic Payments

The California Franchise Tax Board (FTB) March 3 issued information on the Entity ID number to use for electronic payment methods for trust income, individual income, and corporate income tax purposes. The FTB includes: 1) links to Web Pay and electronic funds withdrawal, which are two separate FTB electronic payment methods; 2) the electronic payment method the entity chooses will determine which Entity ID number should be used; and 3) login information for electronic funds withdrawals and on Web Pay for corporations, limited liability companies, and partnerships.
