California FTB Issues Instructions for Pending Audit Tax Deposit Voucher Form FTB 3579

The California Franchise Tax Board (FTB) Dec. 1 released instructions for Form FTB 3579, Pending Audit Tax Deposit Voucher for Limited Partnerships (LP), Limited Liability Partnerships (LLP), and Real Estate Mortgage Investment Conduits (REMIC) for corporate income and individual income tax purposes. Taxpayers must use the form to make a tax deposit payment for a previously filed tax return if they anticipate owing an additional state tax for their partners due to a federal or state audit or any other reason.
