California Governor Signs Law Amending Disabled Veterans’ Property Tax Exemption

The California Governor Sept. 30 signed a law amending a property tax exemption for disabled veterans. The law includes a measure allowing the executor, administrator, or personal legal representative of the claimant’s estate, or the trustee of the deceased claimant’s trust assets, to file an exemption claim with the assessor.
