Colorado Amends Tax Lien, Treasurer’s Deed Procedures, Fees

The Colorado Governor signed a law amending tax lien and treasurer’s deed procedures and fees under Article 11.5 of Title 39, of the Colorado Revised Statutes. The law includes: 1) establishing detailed processes for applications, public auctions, notice requirements, redemption rights, and special provisions for severed mineral rights; and 2) modifying fees for public auctions, tax lien sales, and other related proceedings.
