Colorado DOR Issues Information on Property Tax, Rent, Heat Credit Rebate Eligibility Requirements

The Colorado Department of Revenue (DOR) July 1 issued information on a Property Tax/Rent/Heat Credit (PTC) rebate. The DOR provides eligibility requirements for the PTC rebate, including that: 1) a resident, 65 years of age or older, or a surviving spouse 58 years of age or older, or disabled, regardless of age, may qualify for the PTC rebate; 2) taxpayers who meet the requirements for the rebate should submit the rebate application form 104PTC; and 3) free assistance is available for low-income persons eligible for the PTC rebate.
