The Colorado Department of Revenue (DOR) has published a revised guidance on the Child Care Contribution Credit. The credit which is equal to 50 percent of the total qualifying contribution is available to taxpayers who make a qualifying monetary contribution to promote child care in Colorado. The contribution must be made to a qualifying child care facility or program, and taxpayers must obtain a credit certificate from the recipient organization and submit it with their Colorado income tax return.
