The Colorado Governor signed a law allowing counties, special districts, and school districts to offer property tax incentives to companies that invest in broadband infrastructure in unserved or underserved areas. The incentives may not exceed the amount of property taxes levied by the local government on the real or personal property located within the facility for the current property tax year. The law also amends the legislative declaration for the sales tax refund for rural broadband service providers. [H.B. 1080, enacted 05/30/25]
