Colorado raked in more than $302 million in taxes on marijuana sales in 2019, an all-time high for the state’s industry.
The state has brought in more than $1.2 billion in marijuana taxes on nearly $8 billion in sales since recreational cannabis sales were legalized in 2014, according to data released Tuesday by the state Department of Revenue.
