A Delaware committee advanced legislation that would sever the state from some federal business tax incentives enacted this year.
The House Administration Committee voted 4-1 to move H.B. 255 to the floor next week during a special session called by Gov. Matt Meyer (D) to address a potentially $400 million state budget shortfall caused by the Trump administration’s signature tax law. The full legislature is scheduled to return Nov. 13.
