Delaware Governor Signs Law Amending Newport Town Charter, Includes Property Tax Assessment Provisions

The Delaware Governor signed a law amending the Charter of the Town of Newport. The law includes amending provisions of the Charter pertaining to assessments of property and taxes by requiring the Town Manager to utilize the property tax assessments performed by New Castle County.
