Florida Authorizes Revocation of Business Tax Receipts for Business with Cuba

The Florida Governor signed a law that includes authorizing any appropriate tax collector to revoke or refuse to renew business tax receipts if an individual, business, or entity is doing business with Cuba in violation of federal law. The law takes effect on July 1. [H.B. 905, enacted 05/08/26]
