The Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation Oct. 12 proposed a regulation on use of electronic database system (EDS) for excise tax purposes. The proposal includes measures to: 1) provide the process and forms for alcoholic beverage licensees and permitees to submit reports electronically through the Division of Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco’s EDS; 2) remove post mark deadlines and clarify electronic form submission deadlines; 3) list requirements for collection credits and allowances; and 4) update existing language and remove unnecessary language.
