Florida DOR Adopts Emergency Regulation on Individuals with Unique Abilities Tax Credit Program

The Florida Department of Revenue (DOR) adopted an emergency regulation concerning the Individuals with Unique Abilities tax credit program. The regulation includes: 1) incorporation by reference of a form allowing corporations employing individuals with disabilities in Florida to apply for an allocation of the available tax credit; 2) providing how the tax credit is calculated; 3) providing the maximum amount for each disabled employee; and 4) providing the maximum amount of tax credit that may be taken by a corporation each taxable year.
